Straight-in Portafilter
Simply insert the portafilter straight into the group to attach it. The workflow from grinding to extraction becomes a single, continuous operation, achieving the best workflow and reducing the strain on the barista's wrist.
Auto Steam Flush
When the portafilter is removed from the group, the flushing action automatically starts. This cleans the screen with steam followed by hot water, removing dirt that conventional hot water-only flushing couldn't. This keeps the screen cleaner and stabilizes coffee quality.
Pro Touch Steam Wand
The Pro Touch Steam Wand has a double-wall construction, so the metal parts do not get hot to the touch, preventing barista burns.
Drip Prediction
Traditionally, when using ABR (Automatic Brew Ratio), baristas had to manually set the "DripOffset" (extraction correction). With the KB90, the software measures the final liquid volume during espresso extraction and stops the extraction at the appropriate time.
