What is the GB5 S?
The GB5, named after Giovanna Bambi, wife of La Marzocco's second-generation president, was released in 2005. Its successor, the GB5 S, inherits the spirit of the series: the fusion of classical European design and cutting-edge technology.
New Visual Identity
The design of the GB5 S elevates the GB5 into a modern machine without compromising its luxurious feel and powerful elegance. The two red lilies on the corner panels are called "Giglio," the symbol of Florence. This design evokes the tradition of Florence, La Marzocco's roots, and is the very identity of the GB5.
Improved Group Visibility
The front panel design has been renewed to improve group visibility. This makes attaching and detaching the portafilter easier, enabling baristas to operate quickly.
Water Level Sensor
Equipped with a water level sensor that measures conductivity and water hardness during water supply. This allows for water quality monitoring without the need for testing tools, ensuring the machine always performs at its best.
