Today, I have some very exciting news to share. We have donated our "Dolphins Smile Coffee Bag" to Second Harvest Nagoya! 🎁
First, some of you might be wondering, "What is 'Dolphins Smile Coffee'?" This is a special initiative started by us at BASE COFFEE.
About Dolphins Smile Coffee
This "Dolphins Smile Coffee Bag," created in collaboration with the professional basketball team "Nagoya Diamond Dolphins," actually employs a very unique "one buy one coffee" system. For every drip bag a customer purchases, BASE COFFEE donates another to the Dolphins Smile activity.
Basketball and coffee may seem unrelated at first glance. However, both bring smiles and energy to people, don't they? This drip bag coffee is a tangible expression of that sentiment. 😊
In fact, there's an even deeper special meaning behind these drip bags. 🤔
The coffee beans used are from Myanmar. BASE COFFEE is advancing a project with Myanmar as part of its efforts to contribute to coffee-producing countries. Through this project, we can also contribute to improving the livelihoods of the producers.

In other words, this Dolphins Smile Coffee Bag is packed with the energy of the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins, the hopes of the producers in Myanmar, and the wishes of BASE COFFEE. ✨
This time, we decided to donate this Dolphins Smile Coffee to Second Harvest Nagoya. Second Harvest Nagoya is an NPO that works to reduce food loss and support people in need.
A large amount of food and ingredients were carefully sorted and being prepared for shipment. Most of the staff are volunteers. It's truly wonderful.
On the day of the donation, the staff at Second Harvest Nagoya welcomed us with smiles. They were so happy, saying, "So much! Thank you!" and we were truly delighted as well. 😊
BASE COFFEE is committed not only to providing delicious coffee but also to fostering such collaborations and contributing to society. It may be a small initiative, but there is nothing that would make us happier than bringing smiles to as many people as possible through coffee. ☺️
