This is Kato from BASE COFFEE.Two weeks have already passed since we opened on Misono-dori.I've started various new things, and I'd like to organize and introduce them to you again.First, as I mentioned in a previous article, there's the discount passport system.For this, you first need to install the BASE COFFEE app.There's a "Discount Passport" item within the app, and you can purchase it from there.There are three types, but the one with the biggest discount is a ticket that costs 3,000 yen per month and gives you a 300 yen discount on drinks any number of times per day, with no limit on quantity.Since you need to purchase it through the app, credit card registration is required.I (self-proclaimed) think the "unlimited discounts," "all drinks eligible," and "all stores eligible" aspects make it very convenient.At the Misono-dori store, coffee is 390 yen, so with a 300 yen discount, it's 90 yen each time.If you buy about 4 coffees a day, you save 1,200 yen, so you'll recoup the 3,000 yen ticket cost in about 3 days.For those who buy twice a day, it pays off in 5 days,and for those who buy once a day, it pays off in about 10 days.I created the discount passport because I want people to visit every day.I want people to visit every day because I want our coffee to become a part of their daily lives.If our coffee becomes a part of people's daily lives, we can buy more coffee from the producers we currently work with.That's how I started it.Returning profit to producers is best done by increasing the amount of coffee we can handle, and if more people choose products that aren't mass-produced, the city will become better, people's spirits will be enriched, and we, who work here, will also feel enriched... (= =)The second point is that we bake croissant-dough quiches every morning.The edges of this quiche, rich in butter flavor, are irresistible.And, starting next week, we'll be launching croissant-dough donuts.They're more substantial than regular donuts, have a buttery flavor, and are a highly recommended item.We plan to offer plain and chocolate flavors.
